Turnkey project cost: Couple do not wish to disclose
In 2022 we built our biggest Wee House to date, a bespoke 4 bedroom home measuring an impressive 215sq m.
The lucky owners of this Wee House are young couple Daryl and Heather. Working in a hands-on role in his family run plant nursery business, Daryl needed to be based close by, and so it is on this 50 acre plot of land that their dream house was built.
It was actually Daryl’s mum who first spotted and fell in love with a Wee House built on the Isle of Arran and she suggested the couple get in touch.
Heather tells us, “We were impressed by the Wee House Company from the get go. Nothing was ever too much hassle, even before we had signed a contract. It has always felt like a ‘partnership’ and very personal to us rather than it just being another sale to the business.”

At the Wee House Company, we believe it is so important to keep our customers up-to-date on the progress with their property. While a Wee House is under construction, we send out a weekly report complete with photos and full details on what has been achieved in the past week as well as what is planned for the week ahead.
We also encourage our customers to come and visit our factory at least once while their house is being built. Daryl and Heather made several trips to see the progress of their Wee House and even popped in on the day of their 10 year anniversary!
The couple really valued this level of service, with Heather commenting. “We loved our visits to the factory! We were always made to feel included and not in the way. Caroline, our liaison, kept us updated with weekly videos of the build. Once on-site the team were professional, friendly and Great to work with.”
Working closely with the first-time homeowners, The Wee House Company team designed and manufactured a beautiful 4 bedroom bespoke home in Uplawmoor East Renfrewshire. The 215sq m home is complete with a stunning open plan kitchen-dining-living area, office, utility room, multiple bathrooms. Made unique with vaulted ceilings and a homely wood burning stove, this impeccable home showcases the full potential of the modular construction process and what can be achieved using The Wee House Company’s seamless turnkey service.
In November 2023, this project was recognised at the Herald Property Awards, receiving a highly commended accolade in the hotly contested ‘Best Family Home (Large) category.
