Pricing + Payment

  • When is payment due?

There is a stage payment process in place for purchasing a Wee House. In most cases those stages will be as follows:

    • £2,700 on acceptance of formal quotation
    • The balance of 10% of the sales price is due when planning consent is granted, then manufacture of your Wee House begins.
    • 75% of the sales price is due once the house is completed at our factory
    • The final 15% is due when the house is completed on the plot.

Deposits are non-refundable and must be paid by cash, cheque or bank transfer – we cannot accept credit or debit cards.

  • Is there a risk that build costs could escalate once work begins?

A huge benefit of using The Wee House Company is that we provide details of the build costs upfront, before the project gets underway. Dealing with the entire project – from design to completion – we ensure that your project stays within your budget from start to finish.

Costs will vary if the specification changes over the course of the project for example – if you wish to add or remove features such as a log burner, appliances etc.

  • I’d like a quote for a Wee House
  • Is there an additional design cost for a bespoke Wee House?

No, bespoke Wee Houses will not incur an additional cost for design – up to a limit of five iterations provided in sketch form. This would normally be enough to confirm a suitable design. Any more than five drafts will incur an additional cost, as will any drawings that are to be provided in CAD form.

  • I don’t have a plot of land yet, but I’d still like an idea of prices
