Jennifer Higgins

Jennifer Higgins Managing Director

Construction and design have always played a large part in Jennifer's life.

A particular interest in sustainable architecture was sparked while working on a permaculture design project in East Australia. Jennifer has, since, worked with a variety of companies including; CCM Marketing Communications in Manhattan, HomeStayFriend and Hope Homes Scotland.

She graduated with a first class honours degree in entrepreneurship from the University of Strathclyde and was named 'Young Inspiring Businesswoman of the Year' for 2015 by the Association of Scottish Businesswomen.

Ian Hope

Ian Hope Director

Ian has been working in the construction industry for over 25 years. As a director of Hope Homes, he has been responsible for the building of more than 1,000 new homes in Scotland.

Ian is passionate about the creation of vibrant communities, where families can live, work and interact. His collaboration with organisations like the Prince's Foundation for Building Communities and Prince’s Charities Foundation has seen the development of new neighbourhoods which serve as model communities for Scotland.

Ian is also at the forefront of architecture in timber construction. His recent designs include the Belling Hospitality Training Centre and The Tamar Manoukian Outdoor Centre, both on Dumfries House Estate.

Elaine Fleming

Elaine Fleming Technical Co-ordinator

Elaine has a wealth of experience in architecture and interiors.  She has worked commercially around the world, focusing on high-end design and bespoke projects from commercial workplaces to residential and private houses.  

She has a love for detailed design and seeing a job through from inception to client handover on-site.  Throughout her career Elaine has focused on sustainable design and alternative methods of construction.

Elaine joined The Wee House team in April 2018, working full-time.

Louise Wightman

Louise Wightman Brand Developer

Louise joined The Wee House Company in January 2017 as Brand Developer.  She works part-time and is usually the first point of contact for people wanting to view the show home in Fisherton.  

Prior to joining The Wee House Company Louise was self-employed and focused on website design, social media training and business coaching for micro - small sized businesses in the West of Scotland.  She worked for small and large corporations across several industry sectors. 

Louise held voluntary roles with Association for Coaching and Recruitment Employment Confederation.
